I think this drama has the best posters. At least, it's been a while since I last saw such a good set! Fugitive Plan B looks great anyway, very stylish and well filmed. At least, try it out, the first episodes might not be the best though.

This has been on my mind for a while already. But yeah, what do you guys think about Rain's poodle look? I read this from hancinema He said it himself, "I changed into a poodle concept". I say, it looks more like ahjumma concept xD

What can I say, he does look like a poodle/ahjumma. But why? WHY?! What did he think when he got that hair? "Hmmm... what should I try next? How about poodle look? Sounds great, let's go with that!" or was it just a simple perm accident? Then he came up with the perm look because the only other opinion was to shave everything off. I guess he looks kinda cute... for 80's xD

Seriously. WTF? What's wrong with people nowadays, first Lee Jun Ki has to get a haircut because of the army, then Hyun Bin and his cosmetic surgery and now this? What comes next?!

I think the best haircut Rain has ever had was in the drama Fugitive Plan B, it suited him so well <3

Big Bang Comeback

Popular group Big Bang will release a new album and hold a concert next month, YG Entertainment announced Monday.

The five-member iconic boy band has been preparing the new album for the past two years and it will be released on Feb. 24. The band will officially return to its fans in a large-scale concert "2011 Big Show" slated for Feb. 25 to 27 at the Gymnastics Stadium at Olympic Park which can accommodate some 40,000 spectators.

YG said that the group has chosen to make their comeback at the concert because the members want to perform their new songs live for the first time for their fans.

Until recently the band members have focused on a variety of individual activities both in Korea and Japan.

The members have been pursuing independent acting and singing careers. G-Dragon, the leader of the group, released his first solo album in 2009 while Taeyang saw his first album take the first and second spots in the iTunes R&B/soul charts in Canada and the United States respectively.

T.O.P. (Choi Seung-hyeon) grabbed the best new actor award for his role in the film "71-Into the Fire" at the Blue Dragon Awards last year after successfully starring in hit drama "IRIS" in 2009.

Last year G-Dragon and T.O.P.(Choi Seung-hyeon) released a duet album in December to see their popularity remain high.

Daesung is currently shooting the drama "What's Up" written by Song Ji-na while Victory will release a mini album with songs he has written on Jan. 20.

Last year, the group won honors at the Japan Record Awards and plans to hold a concert tour in Japan in May.

I think it's a good thing the guys have been doing stuff on their own. I mean, they are not going to be in a band forever. Please don't egg me now, that's just the harsh reality... But yeah, great they are finally getting all together again!!

I am not sure if I like SeungHyun's and JiYong's songs and videos but I sure love Heartbreaker album! I am also going to watch DaeSung's drama. Man, I never knew he was filming a drama! This was quite news, I haven't heard anything about that. Hope they will really make it!

I also heard about Full House 2 with Top in it. I dunno if I should be excited by that, I mean Full House 2 has been a hot topic forever and I consider anything about it just plain rumors! The only real Full House will be with Rain anyway xD Talking about dramas, how about someone cast JiYong! Over 16 hours of his face, that would be like going to heaven!

DBSK is over?

Yeah, I am kinda slow with the news lately xD It's just that music is not my thing, I mostly just watch dramas and read fanfiction. But yeah, lately I have been more into K-Pop news thing and found out that Jusnu, JaeJoong and YooChun have formed their own band, JYJ. I just watched one of their videos and I gotta say they sound (and look) GREAT!

I watched DBSK - Keep Your Head Up video earlier and man, it was good too! Thumbs up to Yunho and Changmin. Great choreography. Though Changmin's clothes look kinda gay xD I liked other songs from the album too!

Anyway. I feel sad knowing DBSK members are not together anymore. I bet they all are going trough a lot of emotional pain too! Not only us fans are suffering! I gotta say I just knew something bad was gonna happen when I followed their lawsuit circus. And now, based on news heard/read from here and there I got the feeling DBSK did not break with an argument but the media in Korea rather made up a lot of things. So, I hope the guys can still be friends even though they haven't been in contact much lately. Geeze, all the news articles seem like mere rumors to me. I'm having hard time deciding what to believe and what not.

JYJ vs and DBSK

What worries me is that since Yunho and Changmin are still working for SME (like I have understood, correct me if I am wrong) do they now get paid fairly? Or do they have to continue the slave contract? I read from somewhere that Junsu, Jae and Yoochun won the case! Well, that would explain why they are free to go now (and unable to work with SME, probably got some kind of ban). But since Changmin and Yunho did not file any cases that's why they are still with SME, I presume. Maybe they can't leave? Or then they just don't want to.

I know this is old news but I just recently found about this new K-pop band. I don't know if I am shocked or what but yeah. My first reaction was like 0_o WHAT?! Then I watched the Trend MV and I thought that only one of them was like really fat and the other two looked normal to me. Combined weight 200kg doesn't seem to bad if you divide that by 3 it's only about 66,7 kg per person so... Doesn't seem to fat to me but rather normal. And since one of them is bigger than other two then... at least one is gotta be like normal. It's just that cameras add about 8kg...

Overall I think this is a great idea. Though I still think that one of them should lose a bit weight. No offense but it's unhealthy to be too fat. I don't mean a little fat but too fat. This reminds me of Korean movie 100 pounds beauty!

20 kg of rice?! Holy mama! I hope she means like them three together! I have seen a 10 kg rice bag and that's like hella lot. I mean, it's not only the rice they eat, right?

When asked about their reasons for debuting in an industry dominated by thin idols, Jiyeon answered, “People these days tend to favor thin and pretty people. We just wanted to show everyone that people who have weight like us can be just as confident. We want to break the stereotypes of girl groups as only being skinny. Hopefully our debut can console women who have been hurt because to their weight.”

And you know? That's great! Go girls! But we also have to remember that being too big is unhealthy as well as being too skinny. Instead of being proud finding a balance between fat and thin is even better.

However, the group acknowledged the painful reality they're facing against in the competition against other girl groups. Fortunately, they've got weapons to battle their way to the top: talent.

Min Sun elaborated, “Since we’re big, we sound different… Thin people have thinner voices, and in comparison, our voices sound a lot more rich and powerful.”

At the mention of pure talent not being enough to last in today's industry, Ji Eun added, “You can consider our concept somewhere between Big Mama and 2NE1. We have the vocal talent of Big Mama, and the performance style of 2NE1. With both styles, we’ll be trying our best to perfect both.”

Throughout the interview, the girls were noted for their confident and open thoughts, leading the reporter to ask where their confidence stemmed from. Jiyeon answered, “It’s our vocal talent. I hope people stop thinking that just because we’re big, we’re going to be less talented than other idol groups. We’ll show everyone that we’re good at dancing and singing.

To conclude the interview, Piggy Dolls showed their determination as rookies by stating, “Our goal is to captivate the audience with our own charms, especially on stage. Our long-term goal is to rank first on the U.S Billboard chart. You may be thinking that our goal is too far-fetched, but we fully believe that you need to aim high in order to succeed faster. All of the girls are pretty but I am not too sure about their singing. They use a lot of autotune in the songs... Nowadays it's just lips sync everywhere, not many people out there can really sing. Not that it matters too much, as long as they make good music it's okay. But it's not like they will gain any respect in the talent department, not from me. That means, good faces and fancy beats are enough. Not too flattering... Piggy Doll's voices are deeper indeed but... We will know the truth only when we hear them sing live. If they are truly talented or not. And if they are not then what's left? Think about that...

In a way this all seems like a trick of the agency. "Let's try something new. How about overweight girls? That's going to be shocking!" Let's wait and see how far this new band can go and how long it will be up. I listened to all songs on the album and I have to say that I liked the music so far. And if they really got the talent then good luck!

Since Piggy Dolls is out how about ugly girls next? I'm not joking, maybe seeing not so good looking girls with great singing talent could open people's eyes even more than fat pretty girls.

Which is better before or after?

Personally I find this shocking news. When I started watching Secret Garden I didn't know what to think. The only question circling in my mind was WHY? No matter what fans say I personally think this was a huge mistake. Does Hyun Bin look manlier now? I don't think so. He looks just weird, reminds me of an alien or something.

He looks to thin. I don't know if he lost a lot of weight recently or something. But just look at his cheeks. It looks so very unnatural. I wouldn't say he looks ugly but he is not that good looking anymore. Or maybe it's just the hairstyle he sports in the drama? I think he looked cute but now it's just weird.

Swallow the Sun ep 1-3 rant

At first I though I will never watch this drama. The poster looked too similar to East of Eden and the name "Swallow the Sun" sounds stupid to my ears. Then I saw somewhere that Swallow the Sun is actually All In 2 and that's what triggered my interests. I watched All In long ago, all true Kdrama fans should watch that series, it's classic! Even though it's not one of my favorites at all I still suggest to everyone to watch it. I became interested once I saw that the screenwriter was Choi Wan Kyu who has also written Love Story in Harvard, Lobbyist, All In, The Kingdom of The Winds, Iris and Gourmet (and many more).

It's not like he is my favorite writer, I find his dramas a little slow draggy towards the ending. Lobbyist was absolutely horrible in every aspect, it was totally over the top and so stupid that it was just too stupid... LOL Anyways, Lobbyist is one of my favorite dramas. Why? I had a lot of fun watching it and ranting about it and it had absolutely the best cast squad ever!

Well, the casting in Swallow the Sun doesn't seem bad either.

Ji Sung

The cute bad guy from All In and arrogant but oh so lovable rich guy from Save the Last Dance for Me. He didn't leave a huge impression on me but he is quite ok. Looks SO MUCH younger than hie age... (thanks to the make up?!) Well, he is managing really well!

Lee Wan

Wawa Wiwa! (or so Borat would have said) I saw him in Snow White (and maybe in some movie)and loved him. But now I think it all was just thanks to his looks (cute face, nice body). Next to Ji Sung he is not as charming anymore. But he is an ok actor I think, his smiles always seem so fake though...

Sung Yu Ri

Has made nice progress since Prince's First Love, One Fine Day and Hong Gil Dong. I like her character in the drama but it seems (very strongly) that's she is going to be oh so righteous and pure main girl. To tell the truth I don't like Yu Ri as an actress that much... she is weak, so weak... I hope to see more mature working from her side.

So Yi Hyun

I have seen her only in Resurrection but I liked her since beginning. I like her now too but it seems like she will turn into quite a hateful character. She is beautiful and there is something about her presence... her acting is good and clear. How I wish that instead of supporting cast she would be the main girl.

Episodes

To tell the truth, episode 1 was so lame. It didn't convince me at all. There was nothing, absolutely nothing hooking or anything that would make me think "yes, I will like this drama" But I have gotten so used to this, usually Korean dramas start properly after like 2-4 episodes, before that it's going to be slow and typical beginning.

First of all the beginning was SO similar to Lobbyist. Childhood friends, a battle ship, old village, swimming, diving... And it was so boring. What did we see? A love based on nothing, ruthless beating, whipping and kicking.... Were they in North Korea? That left me quite confused. I thought they were communists but then someone said that communism is a bad thing (or something that way). Now I suppose everything happened in Jeju Island(?) Then the love between the convict and the innocent girl, it seemed more like she was raped... a jealousy of a guy who's love was one sided.

Then there was this scene from the middle part of the drama, fighting in (I suppose)Africa. It was completely irrelevant and out of context because latter happenings didn't really relate that well to any of the main characters.

The second episode was like completely another drama. I know that all of the secrets will be revealed later but after watching episode 2 the first seemed completely waste of time. It all could have been shown later in flashbacks. Because the time jump was so huge between these two episodes I wasn't really sure who is this story about and what's going on. I suppose it's about Jung Woo, he is the son and the police officer is the lover boy from the past (the confirmation at the end of ep3) and the filthy rich man is the ruthless general from the past. So actually Jung Woo will start working with a man who is (kind of) responsible of his mother's death ad maybe has killed his father too.

Directing and setup is nicely done. I saw a nice fighting scene in episode 2 (when Jung Woo fought those thugs at the road side)

I wonder if there will be any gambling n the drama? I am pretty sure it will not be about poker playing like All In was. Some kind of different gambling?

The OST is ok. So far there is only one song I like and it's instrumental version of the main song.

Synopsis: Located on the Southeast of the Korean peninsula is the international city of Busan. A popular vacation spot on the East Sea coast, Haeundae draws one milion visitors to its beaches every year. Man-sik, a native of Haeundae, went deep-sea fishing four years before and lost a co-workier in a tsunami; he has never returned. He now leads a simple life running a small sushi shop and is preparing to propose to his longtime girlfriend, Yeon-hee. While these seemingly banal domestic affairs unfold, geologist, an expert on tsunami research, discovers the East Sea is showing signs of activity similar to the Indian Ocean at the time of the 2004 tsunami. Two men, Arthur Patterson (the son of a U.S. military service member) & Edward Lee (a Korean-American civilian), were the primary suspects. Because of the inability to clearly identify which of the two men murdered Jung-pil Cho, the two suspects were eventually freed from lengthy prison sentences. Edward Lee appealed his conviction and was eventually cleared of all charges by the South Korean Supreme Court. Arthur Patterson was pardoned from his prison sentence and fled to the United States, helped by a Korean prosecutor's mistake to renew a travel ban on Arthur Patterson

Synopsis (lunapark6): Soo-Jin, a young news reporter, takes a break from her job by indulging in one of the finest of Korean street vendor delicacies – the skewered fish sausage (odang). While talking on her cellphone and eating the skewered fish sausage, Soo-Jin is in for a rude awakening of sorts. A cop named Jae-Hyuk is frantically chasing a drug dealer on foot when he inadvertently crashes into Soo-Jin. The skewered fish sausage becomes lodged into Jae-Hyuk’s abdomen.

To make matters worse, Jae-Hyuk suffers from an acute fear of sharp pointed objects. He finds it difficult to even look at a fork or knife and was barely able to get into the police department because of his phobia. When Jae-Hyuk sees the fish sausage lodged into his abdomen he passes out immediately. Soo-Jin causes a minor storm by reporting this incident on her television show and on the Internet.

Synopsis:

When Min Kyung finds out that Young Ho is not rich, she dumps him, and goes back to a rich man (Son Chang Min) who proposed to Min Kyung once before. However, Min Kyung wakes up to true love and realizes that happiness does not necessarily come in money.

Synopsis: Halu (Kimura Takuya) is the captain and star player of an ice hockey team, who is greatly respected by his teammates. For him, hockey is serious business that fully occupies his mind, while he treats romance as if it were a game.

Aki (Takeuchi Yuko) is a typical OL (office lady), and is waiting for her boyfriend to return from studying architecture abroad. At this point in time however, he shows no sign of coming back. One day, Aki's friends who are determined to find her a new boyfriend, invite her to watch an ice hockey game. There she sees Halu for the first time.

After the game, Aki and her friends join the players for a party celebrating their victory. Aki, however, is not so excited to be there. When she leaves the party, she bumps into Halu, who was slightly injured from a fight. They exchange e-mail addresses and part.

The sparks of mutual attraction are ignited in a second encounter between Aki and Halu, arranged with the help of her friends shortly after a party.

Hyodo (Sato Koichi) has come as a replacement for the team's coach who has been hospitalized. Halu has a lot of respect for the hospitalized coach. Unfortunately, he can't stand Hyodo's way of doing things. Bringing with him a lot of coaching experience from overseas, Hyodo criticizes the former coach's strategies. Whenever Halu and Hyodo see each other, they get into a quarrel; consequently influencing Halu's behavior during games.

Seeing that his game ended in a brawl, Aki visits Halu to comfort him. But he tells her that she is being too friendly with him.

Aki is hurt, Halu is irritated, and his teammate Hotta (Sakaguchi Kenji) can't stand seeing Halu like this...

Go Jin Pyo (Kim Min Joon) was a doctor who was a comic book fan of Hana. He was overjoyed in meeting Hana and believed that he was in love for the first time in his life. He decided to help Hana in fulfilling her wish to look for her neighbour and enlisted the help of a private eye, Lee Seok Man (Lee Jin Wook).Lee was the sole survivor of a car accident whereby his parents and brother were killed. He carried a lot of guilt towards the parents of the other victim and did his best to help out even at the expense of owing money to the loan sharks.

Hye Young (Oh Yoon Ah) was a PD of animation projects and a close friend of Jin Pyo. she didn't realize that she was in love with him till Hana appeared.

In bringing her neighbour's love story to fruition and published in print, the process changed the lives and outlook on love for these four people.

Things I hate about Kdrama part 1

Things I hate more than anything. I just had to let some steam out cuz I'm feeling really annoyed xD My message to screenwriters and directors.

1. Older romantic comedies always start with main girl going abroad. ALWAYS! And then she will vomit on the main guy at some point on the trip, all her money will get stolen and she will get drunk and spend the night (after that night she won't shower or anything but put her clothes on and run to the airport) with some idiot whom she will meet later in Korea and they will fall in love...
--Why in the h*ll can't they just stay in that freaking Korea if this is supposed to be Korean drama!?!! And all foreign people they use are ugly apes and talk bad engrsih and there is no way anyone will believe they are abroad. Then that freakin main girl always reads some "how to talk xx language" book and practices it to herself. Well you are freaking amazing!!! WOW! And everyone will understand her and she will understand everyone. How about studying before the trip?!!!!

2. In older dramas poor main girl will fail job interview but still get the job cuz someone in the company high up (usually chairman's son) will fall in love with her and let her work there. Then she will work hard, be optimistic and nice but her 30 years old coworkers who act like teenage girls will bully her and make pranks on her and everyone will think she is a loser who always screws everything up and she will never stand for herself. Until one day... that chairman's son will find out but suddenly everything will be ok.
--What the H!!!! You just meet accidentally some big boss and say how high education is not actually that important. YOU, yes YOU know what. You can drop that s*it about "energetic attitude and will to learn are all that matter" because education matters, damn you. If you cannot speak in English or French how the h*ll do you think you will be able to give good quality service to foreign customers?!?!!!!!!!!!!! There is no any reason why you should get that job cuz just now people with amazing CVs attended the interview, they had plenty of experience and good education. So screw you, go back to your stupid, retarded village and sell your f*king kimbap since you are so good at making it!!!!

3. Crazy ex girlfriend who has no life. All she can do is try to keep that main guy in her hands no matter what and stalk him all the time (call him every 5 min asking "where are you?". They can do anything, even suicide. Just anything to keep that guy. Mostly she just goes to his parents and complains how he wants to dump her. Seriously GET A LIFE YOU WHINY, UGLY, SPOILED PIG FACE. maybe there is a good reason he wants to get rid of you!!!!!!!!! "I can only love him and no one else. I'll die without him" Yeah right, lets see after one year you will be stuffing your ugly face with chips and cola while sitting on your fat ass watching happily tv. Oh God how I hate them!!!!!!!!
-- Do you know what? You are ugly and stupid and that guy doesn't care about you at all cuz all you do is squabble and complain about nothing! Would you like to listen to that?!! What freakin right do you have to tie some guy in your life?!!! Is he a pet or something?!!! Then get a dog and move on, go live somewhere as far away as possible so I wouldn't need to look at your ugly crying face. You will not get that guy, learn to live with it or end your life as fast as possible. Just so I wouldn't need to look at you and your hopeless actions. Or then get some brains and do something intelligent to win that guy over.

4. Main girl suddenly decides to move to Seoul and moves in with her friend in a tiny apartment. Then she will happily borrow her friends clothes and shoes.
-- WTH?!! If my friend did that I'd look at her as* for 1 month the most. Then I'd kick her out. Get an apartment or go live in a trash can. I don't care. Should I be f*cking happy that you come live to my place where even I cannot fit alone, you get a good paying job but are still poor and eat all my food. Then there will be 2 hot guys running after you but you will be like "Oh, I dunno whom I like more." Do you think I have time or even interest to listen to your pointless whining when I'm jobless myself and there is no man even near me except that old fart who lives next door and his pizzafaced nerd son who wants to be an idol even though his singing could be used as a weapon of mass destruction!!!!!!

5. If main guy loses his memory or something tears main girl and him apart for many years main girl will always love only him and say to all other guys "I will love only 1 man in my whole life. I'm that kind of person" I'm adding to this category all "first love" dramas. If you won't get your first love you are screwed. And in all Kdramas first love always happens either in childhood or when you are in your 30s. There is this "no love at all" period like high school and college.
--Well, do you know what?! Screw you bitch! how about getting a life, moving on and being happy?!!!!!!!!!!!!! As if some poor snot nosed kid who has been abused by his father his whole childhood wants to see yer face after 20 years. Why should he still love you? Maybe he wouldn't meet any woman at all during that 20 years. Maybe all other women are invisible to him?! And to you all (Kdrama screenwriters): WHT?!! makes that first love so freakin amazing that it's the end of the world if some idiotic person doesn't like you back?!!!

6. Living room arrangement in every rich house and antique phone.
-- I swear all rich families in Korea have some secret network. They all have similar furniture arrangement, like h*ll yeah. We are so cool. We have same arrangement than in my dad's office. That's so cool. Lets make our house a freakin office. And I swear if I see even one more of those antique phones I'm gonna stuck it into somewhere your very inappropriate (so beware directors)!!!! Do you people understand that you look freakin stupid holding that phone in yer hands, it's so 90's. Move on!!!

7. And if I ever again see any pointlessly complaining ahjumma just cuz she is bored with her life and has a superiority complex and this urge to stalk young people someone's gonna die, I swear. Also all parents who want to control their kid's life. Cannot you understand you OLD GEEZERS that your life will be soon over and after you die your freakin happy kids will dance on your graves. Stop trying to live their life instead of letting them live their own life. No matter how conservative Korea might be. BUT OH MAN!!! Can there be any parent who wouldn't want the best for their kids? And actually see what makes their kids happy and what NOT!??!?!?!?!!!!!!!!!

Epik High’s Possible Disbandment

Epik High revealed that talks of disbandment have been going on for some time due to their rise in fame.

Although that might seem nonsensical, the band asserted that as they started in the underground music scene, their original goal was to bring more hip hop music into Korea; anything extra was just gravy. They now feel that their original goal that they started out with has started to fade.

Tablo shared that it becomes difficult to start worrying about advertising the band’s activities on television, and that he wishes he could separate being a musician from being an on screen performer and retire the latter role if possible.

This offers a perspective about Korean singers in general, who as Tablo says, are expected to release new albums, promote them heavily through the media, then work on releasing another album in hopes of raking in the profits. According to Tablo, this is burdensome and clashes with his ideals of a true musician.

I can understand why they want to disband. Making music is not simply making music anymore. I heard they have been talking about disbanding like a lot so this might be just talks... Dunno. The King and the Clown Kmovie DL

Sumamry: The King and the Clown takes place in the Joseon Dynasty, like so many other generic Korean dramas, but the plot has a very original spin. The story centers on a band of impoverished traveling entertainers. The two main characters Jang-Saeng and Gong-il are lovers. The fact that they are both men should be shocking to Koreans, but Gong-il played by actor Lee Jun-ki is looks so much like a girl; you almost want to believe that he’s female. It’s obvious the two have an amazing bond as they really look out for each other. They decide to go to Hanyang (now Seoul) where they can put on a bigger and better show. There, they find other talented minstrels to join their act.

In order to draw a crowd and make more money, Jang-Seang, the default leader of the troupe, decides to stage a show mocking the King and his favorite concubine Nok-Su. One of the King’s officials gets wind of the show and has the troupe arrested for treason. The official agrees to let them perform for the King with the agreement that if the King enjoys the show, their lives are spared. In fact, the true motive the official has in taking the troupe to the palace is to expose the corruption plaguing the King’s regime.

Miss Kim's million Dollar Quest review

Synopsis (wikipedia):On her wedding day Kim Eun Jae is left standing at the alter by her groom, Yoo Young Hoon, for wealthy Suh Woo Kyung. Her wedding photographer, Park Moo-yeol, is a rich playboy who helps Eun-jae avoid embarrassment by pretending to be her husband. Soon after Moo-yeol's family goes bankrupt. The family home will be sold if he can't come up with money quick. Eun Jae meanwhile is convinced that if she becomes wealthy Young Hoon will come back to her.

Eun-jae and Moo-yeol decide to join forces. They move in together and invest in moneymaking schemes one after the other. Making money unfortunately isn't as easy as they had hoped. As outside forces (and Woo Kyung) line up against them, the two begin to realize that though they may be unlucky in money they are very lucky in love.

First of all I have to say one thing: A perfect balance between comedy and seriousness. I have been searching for this kind of stuff for so long. Thank you heaven!!!!

I just finished watching this drama 1 day ago but I already miss it a lot. My first impression wasn't good at all. First thing to catch my eyes was Kim Hyun Ju's lips. It's so obvious she has done them and before I got used to them I couldn't take my eyes off and it disgusted me like a lot. It looked like someone had hit her with frying pan in the mouth. Anyway, I got used to them and now she looks kinda pretty. Second thing was actor Park Gun-Hyung and his overly dull character. After that it was Kim Sung Ryung whom I couldn't hate just because she was so pitiful. Really, she has no charisma and her voice is always so quiet and her character is boring, not that it's boring but it is presented in a very boring way. Lately I have been noticing Ji Jin Hee's butt, it's big @_@ Bit yeah, after two episodes I was hooked. Or maybe not hooked but I kept watching and sut little by little fell in love.

At first I thought that acting was worse than ever but now all characters have grown on me. I especially like the old couple and their son. They are all so hilarious. Also in the beginning there were this overly idiotic expressions (not funny at all) at the end of each episode. The plot is very simple too. It's actually ridiculous. I cannot understand how can these women love such man as Young Hoon. I mean he is like a little kid. when Woo Kyung appeared and promised to buy him a house he was like "screw the wedding, I wanna that house" Then the talk between Miss. Kim and Woo Kyung "Can you buy him things he wants? I doubt... But I can, he will be happier with me" I was like... Oh please... But after couple of episodes this drama got on a nice track. I have decided that the director is good. Screenwriting is party well done too because characters have funny killer lines and they say them just on right moments. There is this touch of realism too. Miss Kim is mean but not too mean to be unrealistic. Though at teh end I felt really bad for Moo Yeol and I even cried a bit at some scene because he was so pitiful, it was just so touching. I think that acting is good after all. Chemistry between miss Kim and Moo Yeol is great, actually near the perfection. When tehy are together they are whole and when they are apart something is missing. Though from the very beginning they were too comfortable with each other considering they had just met. And I'm surprised there is not contract dating and such, I was sure there will be one but actually the dating thing wasn't important at all.

All the business plans were realistic but funny. They didn't go overboard with anything. Gosh, I'm so satisfied. I cannot find much bad things to say about this drama and I usually like to point all bad things out, even small ones. I think me and this drama = soul mates= perfect love. I am willing to accept all bad things and just love it as it is (like Lobbyist, I miss you so much you unbelievably stupid drama)

Ji Jin Hee

I saw Ji Jin Hee in Kmovie H before and he didn't make any huge impression on me. Now I see him as a nice actor. His character is very lovable and his acting is very natural and relaxed. It really seems like he is having fun and all and it's a pleasure to watch him. As you can see he really doesn't have killer looks and seems rather old but I like him, at least in this drama. His butt seems to be kinda big or then it's just pants he is using but yeah. I dunno. Lol. Overall I like and just love Park Moo Yeol for hsi kindness <3 I felt so bad when I it seemed like he had lost everything but that was just his beautiful way of loving.

Kim Hyun Joo

Like I wrote before her lips were kinda annoying at first. But after some time Hyun Joosshi impressed me. Her Miss Kim was lovable even though she was mean at times but she never was unreasonable. One extremely annoying thing was that she couldn't get over that dull and stupid Young Hoon until the very end. Didn't all the kisses and hugs and stuff mean anything to her? Rather she didn't want to admit her feelings toward Moo Yeol or what? I didn't get her at that part at all. But she is a memorable character and a good actress. It was nice to watch her on screen.

Park Gun Hyung

This character was extremely boring. What a bad acting from this guy. I saw him one before in Mr. Wacky movie. He was ok in there though the movie itself wasn't good at all. Anyway, in the drama he was very dull at first. Almost lifeless, he was just I dunno as if he didn't have any kind of personality or even soul. They made him look so bad too <_< he grew on me later but not enough for me to praise him. Ok, he started looking better but yeah... ok, ok. He gave out this nice vibe of a very gentle man. But the actor could have given so much more. Let's be frank, he sucked. Park Gun Hyung found real Young Hoon too late.

Kim Sung Ryung

Gosh I was disappointed with this woman too. She was supposed to be foxy, mean and hateful character but ended up being so pitiful. Not once I regarded her as a treat to Miss Kim. She appeared always so fragile, so weak looking that I felt like she would start crying any moment. All of her attempts to make Miss Kim miserable were so obviously stupid and lame that it was almsot annoying. I saw her in Iljimae and have to say that she has gotten a lot better in 4 years. overall she wa sdull and boring.

What I liked about this drama a lot were side characters. There weren't many but each one of them was interesting and fun to watch. Acting yet again, magnificent. Hands down, I'm sold. They had good lines filled with absurd humor.

Bong Tae-Gyu

Yaaaaah! This guy is really funny even though he wasn't born with good looks but he deserves to be an actor. As a side character he wasn't too stupid like it usually is. He actually had brains and feelings and his lines were full of intelligent humor. Loved all those quotations xD He resembled his father like a son would but he wasn't as extreme which made him moer realistic.

I dunno who this actor is but he looked hot xD His character was hilarious and kind of mysterious because he talked so little. During whole drama I was waiting for him to expose some kinda big secret or something. Then he did what I expected him to do lol. Overall kinda quirky character but lovable.

Seong Ji-Ru

The boss was a nice add to the series. Without him this drama would have lacked something. In a way he was a serious character but he was so damn unlucky, so damn hilarious in a very pitiful way. I also noticed that whenever he was thinking about hsi love they played a Russian song on teh background (a song about soldiers... lol.. I dunno if that was intentional or not but it sure fitted every single scene). It was impossible to hate this man, he did evil deeds but he was so damn pitiful every time xD One of the best characters ever seen in dramas.

Hong Su-Hyeon

A very typical character who always calls main guy Oppa and appears to be a rival for main girl. Usually a bichy girl, who thinks she is the prettiest in whole world and looks down on everyone. She may be made into a mean character or comical. In this drama she doesn't fall under anything I listed except Oppa. She wasn't bad enough to be a treat for Miss Kim. And she turned out into a nice girl who wasn't annoying or sticky at all.

Shin Gu and Yeo Wun-Gye

The old couple. I so loved them. They weren't conservative and annoying like usually. Even though the old man was so stingy he was funny. Though I was left wondering if he ever sent his wife to that trip or not? Her attempts to make money were so hilarious.

Only Kim Sung Ryung and Park Gun Hyung failed to impress me. All other cast members did great job! OST was cute and plot simple but enjoyable. Humor was good, made me laugh many times. Love triangle wasn't tiring. Overall a very enjoyable and funny series with perfect couple and good chemistry.

Rain, “A sexual reference?"

It has been pointed out that lyrics in Rain’s 5th album title song “Rainism” are sexually explicit. “Rainism”’s lyrics “My magic stick is spinning inside your trembling body / You can’t feel beyond my body shake / Make it Rainism, Rainism / Feel my body” have been noted as sexual references between a man and a woman.

MBC Public Relations Department Rating deliberated on October 21, “Rain’s ‘Rainism’ has already passed the review, but will reexamine carefully and with consideration on the 22nd. We will decide the final decision on October 22.”

Rain’s agent and director of J.Tune Entertainment said, “‘Rainism’’s lyrics do not describe a sexual act at all. Rain wrote the lyrics himself, and the words expressed are a long cane stick dance (magic stick). We hope they will reexamine the good intentions first.”

Still no matter how I look at it... it really sounds perverted now that they have pointed it out xD Rain says he refers to the stick he uses in the dance but it is still perverted in a way. 1. Girl ends up going out with the guy she hates at the first.
2. There is always someone in the family who opposites main characters going out.
3. They usually drive cars or take cabs. No matter how poor they are.
4. If whole drama isn't about working in a big company someone always works in a company. It´s usually a cosmetics, electronics or design company. Or then just some random company.
5. Rich people live in big western style houses. Poor in some slum areas.
6. In every drama there is a drinking scene. Usually drinking soju and someone shouts "ahjumma, more soju here!".
7. Rich guy takes the girl to an expensive restaurant, girl looks at the menu and says "Huh! This is so expensive, should we go somewhere else" guy replies "don´t worry, I´ll pay."
8. Poor people seem to be the happy ones and rich people have always the biggest problems.
9. There must be a hospital scene in every drama even if it´s not serious.
10. There must be one airport scene too. Main characters run around the airport for 30 minutes but cannot find each other because they always turn around just before they are about to past each other.
11. Almost all dramas are about adults. Even if they start from high school they will soon move to college or straight to work.

38. In action dramas (police vs gangsters) someone of the good guys is bound to die.

51. In Korea you can make u-turns or just stop anywhere anytime without checking if there is traffic or not.

53. If you are living in Australia you are always poor, a bum or deadly sick and working at the harbor (with ugly mustache if you are a guy).

(you won't catch a cold from that but if you don't dry your hair with hair dryer after shower you will definitely catch a HIGH fever)
57. Bad guys always hang at pool halls. Always.
58. In movies (about school life) there is always a guy who wants to fight you. He can beat up anyone but you. But you don't care. And he is stupid. I wonder how in the world did he become school's jjang?
59. Here is always a scene when the mother passionately counts money (esp. poor side)
60. Korean think that throwing up is funny. Main girl will throw up on main guy at least once.
61. It seems like Korean people don't know that a person may stay alive even after he has been stabbed 20 times in his stomach. In many dramas, I have seen people dying only because someone stabbed them once in the back. Once.
62. Why do they have so many bathroom scenes in one drama? It's like some education. After you have finished your business always wash your hands. *lecture*lecture* btw. It's always this businessman thing, some businessmen go to bathroom together and talk about something and when they exit they laugh.
63. And beware!!! in any bathroom someone is spying on you. Always!!!
64. If not spying then you talk bad about someone and that person happens to be in the bathroom but, of course, you never expected and everything ends up with an awkward moment.
65. In serious dramas based on revenge main character falls in love with someone who's parents are the villains. And then when he/she discovers it it's like the end of the world and oh so tragic.
66.In action movies/dramas the main guy is a superhero. He can be shot, hit and stabbed and he still keeps going. And of course, the recovery is super fast.
67. Does anyone else feel that in many dramas there are too many boring and needless car conversations? When it gets uncomfortable someone turns on the radio.
68. When someone starts chasing someone they always run trough marketplace and turn over a stand with fruits.
69. One character (old, mostly boss or father) is always so cool, he has always this look of an owl in his eyes and talks very little and all he says is so smart and intelligent. And everyone is scared of him.

81. Every time main character gets new job she/he will be late on first day and keep doing stupid brainless mistakes.
82. In Korea there is no law that protects workers. You may be fired just like that anytime. "What's this? You forgot to sharpen your pen! Never come here again!" maybe it's true?
83. When Korean women meet guys they never act natural.
84. There are moments when you are busted but no one knows and even if you act obvious no one will notice, then you are like phew. Then one day, out of the blue, when you act just normal you are suddenly busted!
85. Some fathers are violent but everyone accepts it as if it's just normal. "My dad hit me 20 times with a golf club yesterday, heh heh. It was fun."
86. All important talks happen outside, mostly in the park and then it suddenly starts raining.

93. Old couples always have weird fights but it never affects their feelings toward each other. Pure love.
94. The guy always drags the girl around holding her wrist violently.
95. When they drink hot (just boiled) tea or coffee they pour it in a mug and hold the mug in their hands (not by the handle but their hands around the mug) and it's supposed to feel so good... If you did that in real life you'd burn your hands for good.
96. They rush to an elevator and miss it just by 2 or 3 seconds and there was someone they haven't seen in many years (like long lost lover or something). Or then they will make it in the elevator just in time but they'd see there someone they didn't want to see and then time will stop for a while with them staring at each other. And it's like so normal.
97. The only part time jobs you can get in Korea are cleaning at the market or delivering newspapers/milk (or then you end up getting a job as a waitress at a coffee shop, then get caught text messaging on work hours and end up cleaning the toilets.)
98. All people in Korea are so good at driving that they don't even need to look at the road while they drive. Then once, while driving and looking at the road they may glance at something for a second or two/ just think about something and suddenly they get into an accident.
99. If you are working at the office you may leave for whole day any time you want and no one will care.
100. Whenever you go drinking there is no one else in the bar. The business must be bad in all the bars in Korea.

Soulmate ending rant

I finally finished watching Soulmate First of all, I really dunno what was that "underrated series" talk on every forum. I thought that Soulmate was fresh, entertaining, funny, touching and extremely sexy and it had a killer OST. But overall my thought was "ok". Yeah, I loved the absurd humor but Soulmate reeked of sitcom, it was a sitcom and it shall stay a sitcom. I wouldn't call it drama. The most irritating thing wasn't the fact that main characters met only in ep 7 but Yu-jin!! I prepared a hangman's noose for her but ended up hanging myself after seeing the ending. After all they went trough!!! I was like bujaaaa!!!! Then I run 10 times into the wall and fell down with my nose bleeding and then I died from loss of blood.

At first I loved Soulmate and thought yeah, totally underrated. But with Yu-jin that spoiled annoying princess my respects went down in toilet bowl along all the... uhum... stuffs in there... anyway. If I was any of the characters I would have shot Yu-jin and then went to party all night long. Even if I had to sit in jail 5 years after that.

The ending... I dunno, it was kind of lame. I know it was just typical open ending. Maybe that's why I didn't like it in this not so typical show? I would have preferred Dong Wook bumping into So-kyung while running from the camera. It would have been so much netter! Though I just know that they will meet again and then it's gonna be loove love love and maybe sex. lol

The idea of soul mate and all that talk about destiny was kind of nice at first but then they started to talk about it too much and whole thing turned into too sweet cake. A cake covered in marzipan *YUK* Many scenes were played again and again and again and guess what? AGAIN! Especially that annoying scene when So-kyung cried covering her mouth with her hand. I hate when they do it in dramas. It looks so stupid when a person cries in a public place and covers her face with her hand.

At least acting was superb. Shin Dong Wook and Lee Soo-kyung had great chemistry, I totally felt it. All their scenes were full of sparks. So enjoyable to watch. I'm a bit bitter that they had so little scenes. I know it's stupid to rant about this but they met only in ep 7 and it was pretty annoying. I felt like fast forwarding the episodes because I felt impatient. and when they met they still couldn't be together and ARGH!! Frustrating if anything. Many times while watching I felt like "screw this. I'm gonna go picking mushrooms". But I couldn't because Shin Dong Wook is such a hottie <3 HE looks like an angel without his hair band.

Phillip was one of my favorite characters for some reason. He was just such a loser xD but his love for So-kyung was so sweet^^ Rye Hei was funny because most of the show I felt like he had been brought to a place unknown to him and then he was just like "ok, so I'll try to play along" And then he was like yeah, I'm hanging out here though I dunno what the h*ll do these poeple want from me?

The poster looked fun so I decided to watch this movie. Plot didn't seem that interesting and it wasn't. Screenwriting felt a bit loose. They got everything started but didn't end anything properly. The time jump at the ending was totally unnecessary. It was supposed to be comedy and it was kind of funny. The beginning was promising though, it seemed like fun but after they got married all fun ended and it turned into one big childish game that reeked of used jokes presented in no funny way. There were couple scenes that made laugh out loud but then I went back at feeling disappointed.

The movie had potential, screenwriting wasn't the worst, acting was good and at times absurd humor hit me in the face and made me laugh. But it just went on and on without any climax, not even anticlimax... and then it drained my energy little by little and I started feeling like 'when is this movie gonna end'? But the ending was pretty hilarious and overall the movie was entertaining. I don't suggest watching if you search for something rather intelligent. But recommended to allromance lovers.

The acting wasn't bad at all. I liked all cast members and all side characters. Character development was good. All characters were

b. acted out well
c. directed well.

H Kmovie review

I decided to watch this movie because I though that the poster was cool. No less no more. Then I glanced at the synopsis and saw the word serial killer. I thought it's gonna be something I like since I love Korean crime movies.

Summary (from asianmediawiki): Someone is killing women, most of whom have the connection of unwanted pregnancies. The vicious nature of the crimes and the choice of victims matches the M.O. of notorious Korean serial killer, 26 year old Shin-Hyun. The problem is Shin-Hyun has already handed himself in and admitted to 6 killings prier to this recent spate. Hard-bitten female Detective Kim Mi Yun, played by Yum Jung-ah (A Tale of Two Sisters, Three… Extremes,) and her new partner Detective Kang Tae Hyun race against time to solve the murders and put a stop to the horrific killings.

Jung-ah Yum

When she appeared on the screen I thought she was good. I liked her. Later I saw her in a movie The Worst Man of my Life and I liked her there as well. First of all she is such a beautiful woman. Her charisma is like huge and it's difficult to take your eyes off of her. I can't imagine what would have happened if I were a guy xD

Her character doesn't have much lines. I understand they wanted to make her seem mysterious and cool. She was but it was also the waste of her talents. Her character got simply too little to do and too little to say, she hid all that interesting past. She didn't have clear history, her thoughts weren't displayed and I don't really get her motive in the end. I know she was just helping him but yeah...

Ji Jin-hee

I saw thsi guy in Soo soem tiem ago. My first thought was not that bad looking but not that handsome either. His acting was fine but his character seemed to be incomplete. He just appeared out of nowhere and talked about uninteretsing things. why did he always get so mad at Shin Hyun? What did he think about everything at the end?

Jo Seung-woo

I liked this guy the most. His character was written the best as well. He portrayed a crazy serial killer amazingly well and his acting was very convincing. No wonder I liked him. I saw him before in Tazza and felt like no other man could be Goni.

Plot:
The screenwriting is very usual, very disappointing. It turned out to be a thriller more than crime. From the very beginning after you have seen the meeting between Tae Hyun and Shin Hyun you can tell who the killer is. I surely pitied the guy though. Later in the movie it becomes so obvious that it's weird that the stupid detectives didn't come up with it earlier. Other than predictable it is pretty boring. Yeah, the crimes are disgusting and crime scenes are portrayed well and it is breathtaking and exciting at times. Though the bodies didn't look that real.

I cannot say the screenwriting is witty but at times it's okay. The past behind Shin Hyun is disturbing and made me wonder if taht coudl be actually real? I also thought that the answer to "What does the title 'H' mean?" was pretty good.

Over all it was hard to get in touch with any character, they all seemed so distant and hard to approach as if they didn't want anyone to get close to them, not even the audience. I liked the scenes between Shin Hyun and Tae Hyun the most. The chemistry between them was amazing, it was scary it was exciting. Together they created a great atmosphere.

The ending fails to tie loose ends. I felt like so what?

If you like thrillers and blood you will like this. Then again if you have seen a lot of thrillers this one won't give you anything new or good. While watching H you shouldn't start think about things because you won't get any good answers or motives.

East of Eden ep 13 and 14

I gotta say ep 13 was maybe the best episode so far. Finally some real action and excitement. I even found myself a bit excited! Dok Sa and other gang members were kinda cool. Rushing to President Guk with the ambulance, so clever. I liked graces attitude in this episode a lot. I think sh will be more than capable to take over President Guk's position though she is still a bit rash, I think she will learn with years. This made me think that maybe President Guk will die alongside the drama.

Then again every time when Lee brothers meet it's feels like some sappy scene from romantic series. I also noticed that Yun Jung Hoon absolutely doesn't know how to run. When he ran to Dong Chul it looked so stupid like a little kid who just learned to run. They hugged and went to drive with Dong Chul's motorbike and all kinda stuff a couple would do. I'm starting to suspect that the love triangle will turn in to something crazy. Dong Wook is not actually Dong Chul's biological brother... This is gonna be crazy xD

So hateful Ji Hyun finally made her decision. She still kept blaming Myung Hun all the way even though he seemed more than regretful. I know Ji Hyun has the right to be mad and all but how is Myung Hun's love wrong? He loves like Ji Hyun. And I am sure that Ji Hyun will be able to change him into better. Like she told Tae Hwan she married Myung Hun because she believed she had the power to stop the wrath between 2 families. I am eager to see that power. When I saw the wedding ceremony I was so sure that one day Ji Hyun will fall for Myung Hun. One day she will surely fall for him!! And when I saw that 3 years later scene I was a bit disappointed. Ji Hyun seemed happy. Of course she was like oh so shocked when she saw an article about Dong Wook yet still I could feel she had gotten used to her life and became happy.

Meeting between mother and son was very annoying again. Yeah, Chun Hee didn't know that Dong Chul actually begged those gangsters to pay the money but still she was too mean. I don't care how much her heart hurt after that! She knows that Dong Chul is trying his best yet she cannot accept him. Being righteous at times when money rule, it's just stupid. I was waiting for a comment like "I won't get my pay because you showed up here." I know that it's absolutely right what she is doing but still it annoys me. Such a righteous person. Why is a casino dirty place? Rich people like businessmen come there to play like little boys. Maybe the money they use is dirty but that's already too far fetched!

In episode 14 there was this sudden 3 years jump. It came too suddenly. I know that surprises are always nice and all but screenwriter should have at least prepared the viewer for it. I'm truly disappointed with the screenwriter overall. This drama is so full of melodrama and hate that it's already annoying, boring and tiring. East of Eden should be more of an action series. I want to see intelligent businessmen and rich families fight and plot. I want to see some dirty scheming bastards. But everything till now has been like a child's play and kind of lame. Moreover the main focus seems to be on relationships. I have to say this time MBC has played it's cards right. I think they managed to win Ahjummas over.

East of Eden ep 10-12

Episode 10 was the most melodramatic since ep 2-3 and it was the most over the top than any episode before. It all starts with this lame "flying scene" ah, I'm at the verge of losing my hope. Back at the Korea there is this stupid kid who only thinks about his robot even though people around are fighting. I understand he is just a small boy but yeah, even a small kid can tell if something goes wrong. Then there were many boring hospital scenes with people just crying and crying and that scene when Dong Wook rushed to the boy's room with dramatic music on the background. I was like <_< just die already and get over with the funerals.

Somewhere else Myung Hun's crazy and obsessive and forceful love is driving him crazy. "That's my love" he says and orders men to imprison the woman he loves and torment her. "I love her" he still dares to say. He should listen to his mother more but no he won't. I was thinking if that's normal. A kid is going crazy but parents don't care. I still pity Myung Hun, he is broken. Ji Hyun doesn't help the situation one bit, she keeps shouting at him and telling him how disgusting he is. Why can't they talk it over normally. In a way I understand Ji Hyun's rage because Myung Hun is crazy but still. I'm not satisfied with thsi situation because Myung Hun is not actually that bad and wicked.

There is another lame phone conversation between Lee brothers... And finally Dong Chul decides to come back to Korea. This is what I have been waiting for. I'm not disappointed in him one but. So what if he becomes president Guk's dog? I'm very satisfied in fact, I like president Guk. At least he has power and together with Dong Chul's wrath toward Tae Hwan they can achieve quite a bit. I also enjoy quite a bit President Guk's and Garce's father-daughter relationship.

After Dong Wook got imprisoned I started hating Ji Hyun even more. What's the use of saying sorry anymore? She signed the papers and that's it. She betrayed him. And after that she can only cry and pity herself only. She is totally just a spoiled princess.

Hye Rin's hate toward her parents is not quite understandable. I know that I will learn about her more in the future but it's a bit annoying that they start with her hate without any explanations. Her dad seemed like a nice person anyways, though stupid. Her mother seemed very reasonable though. She acted like she should have acted in those situations. Life is not easy especially when you are surrounded with powerful people like that. You should alway think how you act, what you say and be careful. Hye Rin should know that too. And her way of requesting for something was very rude. She came to her parents to ask for help but while asking she used rude tone and mean words. Then her father suggest that his company may go into her hands but whats' her reaction? she tells him off? maybe there is a very reasonable reasons but it is hard to understand right now when I don't know any details. I know Hye Rin is mad because her parents kiss up to idiots like Tae Hwan but that's how things are. If you don't want to get into trouble then kiss up and try to survive.

In ep 12 Dong Chul and Hye Rin finally meet. Their meeiting was more dull than dull. No chemistry at all. I don't mean they should have fallen in love woth each other or anything but it was absolutley neutral. There was nothing! I so wanna Dong Chul x Grace relationship. Sh ecan be a bit childish at times but that only makes her more cute!

Brothers finally met. Their meeting was totally over the top. It was like from some lame play "Is that my brother's voice I'm hearing?" And then President Guk's comment "Turn on the lights for them" I was like Rolf! But before that when Dong Chul saw his brother being thrown out in the fields he did nothing. He knew that Dong Wook was injured and stuff so wouldn't it have been natural for him to rush to his brother?!

But the WORST!!!!!!!!!! Was the meeting of Dong Chul and his mother. 1. It was overly dramatic 2. Chun Hee's mother is actually lacks empathy!!! Rather than listening to her own son she listens to what Myung Hun (her enemy) has to say and believes him. Not Dong Chul. When he comes to her room all she can is to accuse him of things he never did and she never gave him time to explain himself either. "You did this and that and you dare to come back to me" That's more than rude, that's heartless. I refuse to understand here, this is my limit. No matter how soft her heart is I don't want to understand a mother who only believes in stranger's words and says "What other's will think of me now?" She never asked about the truth. I know she will later understand and say sorry but what's the use? It's gonna be too late anyways. Also getting mad and Dong Chul when he says he's gonna avenge his father with maybe illegal method. She Chun Hee if anyone should know that for poor people there is no law that can protect them. There is no way Dong Wook or Dong Chul could with Tae Hwan with help of the law only.

Ji Hyun finally gives Dong Wook up. I have one questin. When did she have sex with Myung Hun? She cries and makes a big scen eout of everything. I feel like this because I don't really like the actress. She makes Ji Hyun seem annoying and stupid. I understand Ji Hyun feels wronged because she has been wronged. But she is being mean to Myung Hun too. Chun Hee doesn't help the situaton. She came to see Ji Hyun because of Dong Wook but had nothing good to say. What a heartless woman. I hate her.

I always enjoy when Dong Chul appears, though sometiems I just don't get the stuation. Suddenly he is a gang leader? When did he start working at the casino? Well, no matter what the bald guy should get in trouble soon. He is disgusting and annoying and President Guk should do something about him.

No surprises so far. Everything going on as I expected. Some Chinese speaking Vietnamese guys wanted to blow up the restaurant for an unknown reason and suddenly Mike has to sign some contract... but luckily Dong Chul saves him and Grace because those stupid gangsters mentioned their blowing up plan because they were so mad about losing at the casino.

Lame scenes continue.

Now I have one question. Why the h*ll is Dong Chul so sweaty all the time? He's always so wet as if he had just come from a shower. That does not make him more sexy at all, more like disgusting.

I understand Dong Chul was proud of his brother but... that phone call was over the top. He called his brother and instead of asking "how are you" he just shouts "DONG WOOK" what's to make Dong Wook deaf. Dong Wook is only able to whisper "Hyung..." They act like some lame lovers with that overly tragic music on the background. The scene was just too much!

I know that it was a big deal for Lee family that Dong Wook got into the Uni but was it really so big that he had to be interviewed in tv? Really? Every year someone gets in the Uni as the best so do they make that big commotion every year? I don't think so. A magazine interview should have been enough and not as the first page article. and what's with in the middle of the night? How did reporters find out before Dong Wook?! I guess ppl were happy in the willage too so a party was something I would have expected. But just a party... instead they made it look like some illegal gathering.

I think Myung Hun looks like his mother. I feel like he definitely got his mother's nature. Not giving up. Unfortunatley he seems to have gotten his father's stupidity He is kinda stupid and rash with his actons. Again, thanks to Tae Hwan.

I'm kind of sick of Lee family hatred. They keep saying "Tae Hwan killed my dad/husband". They just keep repeating it everywhere they go. Its' about the time to do something... I remember in ep 3 or 4 when Myung Hun came to say hello to Dong Chul, Dong Wook and the mother they were really mean to him. Why do they blame Myung hun? He is just a son, he has nothing to do with it. Of course he wants to believe his own father more than some strangers. I also remember Chun Hee saying "the one who loses his temper first, loses" and then she immediately snapped at Myung Hun and his mother. I was like... okay. So you just admitted you lost? if I were Myung Hun I would slap every single member in the family. From the very start he only wanted to be friends but they kept badmouthing him. No wonder he hates them now!

I think that Grace and dong Chul have good chemistry. I'm totally rooting for them more than anything. But based on some posters it really looks like love triangle between Dong Chul, Hye Rin and Dong Wook... eh, I don't wanna see that. I just hope it only looks like it.

I never expected seeing nurse here and now. I was just wondering what happened to her and there she was before my eyes. I'm dying to know how she managed to climb so high. That Tae Hwan bastard suddenly changed after seeing her. He wasn't even sorry and in the end I really didn't understand what he wanted to tell her. I hope she will soon find out about Dong Chul's identity. Actually I was thinking about the truth. What would it do to Chun Hee? Her character is so strongly against Tae Hwan's family. I think the truth would break her into pieces. Maybe in the worst case she would die or something.

Another thing put of the blue. So Dong Wook went to school and there was suddenly a strike. WHT?! Why? I have no words for this. They just add strike without explaining why? Without showing who's involved, who's the leader, hwo was it planned etc.

And finally Lee Dan Hee appeared. She totally seems like a character who's strong outside but weak inside. I'm waiting for her burst in teras any moment. Her acting was ok, I like her attitude so far.

Suddenly there was a marriage meeting. WHT?! I thought President guk didn't like Tae Hwan.. And then this

happened. It's like raping Myung Hun. It was SO mean from Tae Hwan and I really don't understand why he had to do it?!!! I think it's time for Myung Hun to wake up and finally understand that his father is not a nice guy.

I really don't get what's the big deal about using connections.

They were talking about it whole episode. Since when did Dong Wook become so righteous? He if someone should know that in the world it's not possible to live abiding to the law because ugly bastards who only think about themselves make the law. When in ep 2 or 3 Chun Hee went to receive the money from Tae Hwan she burned it. WHAT?! She could have used it and made Dong Chul and Dong Wook into outstanding men and who would then avenge their father. Then they could say "It's your dirty money that made you into nothing"

How do they know each other?

I don't get this guy at all.

The whoel kidnapping situation was so stupid. Why did they kidnap her? Tae Hwan is really childish. Let's make Dong Chul into a murdered. Then what?! I think Garce and Dong Chul have great chemistry but I really can't tell what he is thinking, at all.

I finally found some time to catch up with this show. After pretty boring and overly melodramatic beginning it has gotten better, no doubts. But I still think it does NOT deserve the high ratings it's getting. They cry in every episode. In the beginning it was awfully boring... they started mourning before Lee Gi Chul's death, they cried after he died and after that in every episode. Even now. I'm not that disappointed with acting but I am really disappointed in screenwriting. The plot seems ridiculous, it's too dramatic, too emotional at wrong moments and too boring. For example episode 3 was stupid, nothing actually happened in whole episode <_< that fire thing was absolutely exaggerated. I can't believe Dong Chul's mother's attitude. Ok, so he started the fire so what? Shin Tae Hwan absolutely deserved it. Maybe he did wrong but does she have to start hating him right away and label him as a gangster?!!

What I liked about ep 3 and 4 were Dong Wook and Myung Hun. (Though I didn't like Won Duk Hyun) These little guys absolutely described their father's when they were kids. Dong Wook was fierce and constantly thought about revenge or rather harming Tae Hwan while Myung Hun only wanted to be friends with everyone. Later when they grew up I could see that their parent's propaganda had changed them into what they should be. Yun Jung Hoon is too old for the role, no matter how young they make him look he is just too old. I can see and feel from him that he knows too much about life. Though I really love his gentle aura. He always speaks softly and has that incredibly lovable light in his eyes. He is too nice.

From the very start I didn't respect Tae Hwan as a villain because he just wasn't bad enough, he didn't have that evil look in his eyes. But my hatred toward him grew a bit after I saw how he tried to live trough his son, forcing him do this and that. I pity Myung Hun a lot. He was never strong enough to oppose his father or stand on his own. Later its' so obvious that he just weak and doesn't know which way to turn. Since childhood he had done whatever his father told him so now he becomes bad only because he doesn't know how to go against Tae Hwan. Thanks a lot dude, you just have corrupted your son's life. I really like Park Hae Jin, yeah he looks good and he looks mean. But more than anything I wish he wouldn't have been bad if he only could become good.

Dong Chul getting in the prison and all that stuff was exciting since it was finally time for action (instead of crying). But after he escaped things happened so fast. I didn't have time to get to know other characters. some things that happened were weird. I mean, what's that treasure hunting? Then this guy betrayed everyone and there was another bad guy and then that gangster dude (was his name Wang Geon?) suddenly went to work for Tae Hwan because he had some childish grudge against Dong Chul. At first I thought it was his plot to avenge in Dong Chul's place but then I noticed he was seriously mad at Dong Chul. For what? Yeah, maybe he had to leave in order to protect his family and he was forced to do so anyways. Any sane person would think about these possibilities.

WhenI first saw this man I never knew he would be one of my fav. characters.

Suddenly Dong Chul was good at fighting? wtf. No the stupidest thing ever was Don Chul's expression when he entered the casino "oh, they are playing with cards. This looks so fun I wanna try it too" he was like a little kid. Then I dunno how and why but suddenly he was soooo good with cards that it was supposed to be amazing. He even changed his hairdo and started looking more gangster... This all just suddenly happened like one scene ended and then he was so amazingly good at playing cards. Man, some ppl have to practise it for years!!

I really liked this man. I don't remember what's his name and I'm really curious WHAT THE H*LL HAPPENED TO HIM?!! i was kidn atouched when he told Don Chul that he want's to be hsi father but yeah, he had too little screentime so I really don't have any deeper opinions about him.

I really liked Kim Bum's acting. At first I was like. so lame <_< some young unexperienced actor who cares. But then he managed to win me over. Now I kinda miss him. His acting was.. how to say... spicy enough xD

Then let's move on. What else. So he ended up at Macao place and was left all alone. He didn't even know the language. But then there is this time jump, the viewer just has to guess that it's been like about 3 years. How did Dong Chul survive? Suddenly he was working and had "family" and stuff and I was never told how he got friends + the ppl who are supposed to be Vietnamese speak Chinese... That reminded me of his bad ass boss who wears kung fu shirt and uses some stinky rope as a whip and I bet he thinks "I'm a real bad ass, I speak bad Chinese but I can rule all these Vietnamese ppl who for some reason speak Chinese. Yeah, I'm so damn cool." Dong Chul seems to be doing ok. At that time Tae Hwan is acting stupid. He wants too much too soon. He has made all possible mistakes and is still alive. I'm surprised. The man has no shame.

I thought this was the lamest scene so far. no, actually the lamest scene is that hand thing scene.

This scene was actually beautiful and touching. This was the first time when I actually realized how awful it was for Dong Chul as a kid to lose his father that way. He just couldn't run fast enough.

Han Ji Hye sucks. I hate her and I hate her character. Ji Hye is just worthless scrybaby who acts like a spoiled kid. She always keeps saying hwo she cannot live without Dong Wook. Well guess what?!! Before declaring your undying love do something about Myung Hun!!!!! Seriously, she cannot stand for herself at all. Even though she hates Myung Hun she still cannot express it well enough. I wonder how come Dong Wook loves her so much?! She is so damn weak, petite princess.

So I finally saw the rumored sexy and hot hunk Song Seung Hun. What to say. I think I like him so far. Though he has very few different expressions as if he doesn't know any more. But he looks good so maybe that's why I like him xD I'm so superficial. I dunno, I like his eyes. So big and lovely <3 I also like Dong Chul's character. I know it's kinda cliche character that only thinks about other's happiness and keeps all sorrow to himself.

Dennis Oh fianlly arrived at the scene. YAY! He seemed really stiff at frst but then I got used to him. Dunno, he is not important and his acting is ok so I like him. Besides I liked how he became freinds with Dong Chul. I wann se them become even better friends.

Lee Yeon Hee. I love her. For some reason I just cannot help but love her. There is something absolutely lovable about her. I regard her as a good actress and I think she delivers her role very well. I also liek her character. So innocent and stupid.

He just looks so damn helpless and lost. Poor kid.

President Gok is so cool. At first I thought his character was too weird, in fact, I still think so. He is like from some other era. Or maybe he became crazy after he noticed how rich he actually is? I dunno... So far he seems like a good character and I'd like him to stay so. I'm looking forward to his cooperation with Dong Chul.

I somehow don't wait anything from this drama anymore. As I expected I'm quite disappointed with the acting and screenwriting but overall I think this is an ok stuff.

Plot :

I'm halfway watching this drama and I gotta admit I really like it! Even though it was filmed SO long ago in 1996 when I was like attending my second year in elementary school I still can't help but love it. Of course clothes and hairstyles (old good 90's) sometimes seem funny but in a way I feel a bit refreshing. I really miss 90's and Long Vacation makes me feel like the old good days are not so far away.

Then why is this stuff so good? It has not only excellent star cast but witty screenwriting and good directors. You just have to love all characters especially energetic Minami. The plot is predictable in a way and some characters a bit annoying. Also "first kiss is a big thing" attitude pisses me off sometimes. Come on, it's not such a big thing! Long Vacation is not boring and it advances forward pretty fast so you won't feel like fast forwarding any scenes. That's just great. Love is pictured very beautifully. It's not just some sudden thing but it evolves pretty slowly without main characters noticing anything but to watcher it's obvious. I really like that love atmosphere. Senna and Minami are becoming similar to each other, they are starting to miss each other, feel jealous, having each other's habits.

Recently I have been hanging with Japanese exchange student and when I mentioned him I'm watching Long Vacation it put a wide smile on his face. Yes, this drama was a big thing, it won bunch of awards and I am almost sure that majority of Japanese ppl know about it. It's like a must. When I gave it a thought I realized it's that kind of drama, it will put a smile on your face and you will start missing some characters. I started watching Long Vacation only because of Kimura Takuya but ended up finding so much more.

Synopsis (dramawiki): Senna is a college graduate who dreams of becoming a world class pianist. He teaches piano at a local piano school. Minami is an out of work model. On her wedding day, she gets dumped by her fiance and loses all of her savings, which she gave to her fiance. Her fiance turns out to be Senna's former roommate. She rushes to Senna's apartment and finds out that her fiance has skipped town. With no money and no where to go, she moves in with Senna.

Senna likes Ryoko, a college sophomore. He likes her a lot, but just doesn't have the courage to ask her out. Koishikawa is Minami's best friend and is also a model. She provides much of the comedic relief in this show. Shinji is Minami's younger brother who just happens to be better than Senna at piano. He opens a bar/nite club. Rumiko is Shinji's girlfriend. Sasaki is Senna's professor at college and is always encouraging Senna to perform at the next piano competition.

He is a legend. He is hot and and talented, what else do you want? Such a pity he is a bit old already but that's why we have old dramas. You can always teleport back in time even when he becomes old grandpa you will be able to see young and fresh him. I don't like his hairstyle in Long Vacation much but overall he looks really cute.

How to play softsubs?
Download medis file and .str file. Check that files are named exactly the same:
example:
video file: GoongS_ep1
sub file: GoongS_ep1.srt

Some players that play .srt files:
VLC media player
GOM Player
bs.Player

!Sometimes subtitles are not srt files but sub files. To play those things just click:
opinions--subtitles--choose language--english

Subtitles don't match speech?
Subtitles are always synched for HQ or LQ files. If they are synched for HQ they will show too late or too early in LQ files. You can adjust them at least in GomPlayer. I have done this tons of times and it's easy.
opinions--subtitles-- 0,5 second faster or 0,5 second slower
That's it. This way you can also adjust audio if for some reason speech and picture don't match. just go opinions--audio

Subtitles are too big/small
If file is not hardsubbed you can customize your subtitles. Just go opinions-subtitles and then choose right opinion.

Well just download Windows media player if you don´t have one installed on your comp. Personally I downloaded Storm Codec With it installed I don´t actually need to search for any codecs at all. It plays DVD files, subtitles etc.

Picture is not showing(or blurry) or there is no voice
Some files just work in only one player. If it's not Gomplayer, VLC nor Media player try Winamp. I have had some files that worked only in winamp. At first I thought the file was corrupted but it wasn't (I tried downloading from different sites). No matter what try always in different players. I use Gomplayer mostly but I need Media player and Winamp at times. But first find out if the file is really ok or corrupted.

How to join splitted files with hjsplit:
Sometimes drama episodes are very big and split in 2 or 3 parts. You need to download hjsplit. It is really easy to use and does not need any installations.
1. Put it in same folder with downloaded files.
2. Check that all downlaods are named same way. example:
GoongS_ep1.avi.001
GoongS_ep1.avi.002
GoongS_ep1.avi.003
2. Run hjsplit, choose "join"
3. Click "input files" and choose .001 file. And then click "start"
4. Then just wait a bit.

---I joined files but it seems like episode is not full?
Check that all files are named same way.
Example:
GoongS_ep1.avi.001
Goong S_ep1.avi.002 <-- episode is damaged because name is different (space between Goong and S).

How to use xtremsplit by tampopo:
Download it HERE *if someone knows a better link then please post here. I have checked the file and it's safe.

Go: — options - generales - langue - english and the program will be in english

First to join the file click on "join" , then after click on the "S" to select the file, if the file doesn't appear, click on the menu ahead of "open" where's written "Xtremsplit v1.1/1.2 (*001.xtm)" and select "HJ Split, FileSpliter 4.5, Ultra Splitter (*001;*u001)" when the file ends by .001 or select "Xtremsplit version 1.1/1.2 (*,001.xtm)" when the file ends by .xtm . And choose your file.
After "D" is for the place where you want to put it when it's joined, if it's not where are already the splitted files, then select another one. And to finish, click on "Join" at the bottom to start.

Now to split files click on "Split" , select a file like before, clicking on the "S" after selecting the file, like before choose the place where you want to put it when it's splited, if it's not where is already the file, change it by clicking in "D".
You can also choose, the size of the files you want to make when it's splited, by clicking on "size of the part" and enter the size you want, you can also choose the number of file you want by clicking on "Number of parts" in the same place.
When you have done, just click on "Split" at the bottom.

Meaings:
HQ= high quality (means like 500-700 mb files. Like real HUGE)
LQ= low quality (may be very bad quality, it may even spoil you and may be annoying. But at least dl time is not long. size between under 50-150mb)
MQ= medium quality (usually pretty much like HQ but size is between 200-400 mb)

Softusbs= it means subs are not within episode, you need to dl them and then you need a player to play them
Hardsub= if episode is hardusbbed it means subtitles are alredy within the episode. So you just play it in any palyer you like.

How to merge files downloaded from badongo

You have a few options available to you if you would like to merge files back together.

When you download split files, you will notice that they have file extensions such as .aa .ab .ac etc...

You will also have to download a file with the .badongo extensions.

Make sure you download these files into the same directory.

The easiest way to merge files back together is to use our FREE Badongo Buddy software for Windows or our FREE File Merger for Mac OS X.

Users who do not wish, or are unable to, install software onto their computers, may download our small filemerger.bat files.

These files are simple batch files that copy the files back together into one piece.
If you would like to inspect the contents of the .bat file, you may open it in notepad or Word.

If you run Linux or FreeBSD, you can simply use the “cat” command to put the files back together.

-Cheat sendspace with LINK and here are more proxyfree site links. Just copy download link and paste it in the proxy site, then click go.
-Read FAQ from on site you try to dl from. Maybe you are doing something wrong.
-If site asks you to wait certain time you have to wait that time. Downlaod will certainly start.

My simple tutorial:
If you use Opera as your web browser it has inside build torrent. So you can just click download and it will start. However if you use Explorer or Firefox you will need to download bittorent cliet. Personally I like to use Flashget it's a dwonload manager that support bittorrent. Just right click bittorrent link and save it to your deskop. Then open flashget and drag drop BT file. Or then right click BT link and choose "download with flashget"

I started the download but it doesn't work or is stuck at cectain point. This means the file you are downloading doesn't have any seeders. Bittorrent works like this: people who share files seed, if there isn't any then it won't work because no one is sharing it. So before downloading any BT file check if there are any seeders. If there isn't then it's pointless. Even 1 seeder is ok but the more seeders the faster speed.

Why use BT? It is fast when there are seeders and you can resume your download anytime. You can even close your computer and after you start it again you can continue from where you stopped. Many files that are shared via BT can't be found anywhere else.

! Flashget is not the only free downlaod manager out there. Here is some info, list and comparison chart @ wikipedia

I didn't know they made a drama out of this. I couldn't even suspect or have expectations. But when I accidentally saw the topic at D-Addicts I went to downloaded it right away. I love Kamio Yoko, she is one of my favourite mangakas. I thought "This could be great" but I was disappointed, with both, cast and story. Ok, the story follows manga pretty closely but it seems a bit wooden. Of course, it seems. But the casting didn't impress me. I dunno if they are supposed to be superstars or anything (seems like they have starred many series)... Anyways, this might have been directors mistake as well. The scenes just don't work, settings and stuff, some camera angles are plain stupid. All characters are so different that it really seems impossible for them to interact naturally. It's like you cut pictures from different magazines and try to merge them together but they don't fit, thats' all.

They could have changed the story a bit. I mean, in a manga for parents to leave a 11 years old kid to be like that may be ok but in a drama with real humans... I mean, of course, any of us could say to our 11 year old kid "Dear, if you don't want to go to school you don't have to. Just stay in your room." I mean, COME ON! The mother was so annoying. And the argument she had with dad. Oh please, they should have gone that trough like 5 years ago and if they had they wouldn't talk about the situation like they talked now. And they totally went silent after their teenage daughter lectured them...

There were too many flashbacks. Story started with a flashback and it ended with the very same flashback. I know they were important for the shake of the story but come on. And what about that scene when Keiko was sitting in the cafe and heard mother lecture her daughter so hard... then it just went on for only God knows how long!!

My opinion: I always thought that season 1 ended the same way as manga but it was only Tsukasa´s first time going to America. As before his mother is as hateful as EVER. Story goes on same way as in manga, that is just great because HYD is one of my favorite mangas. Music is not that great but I like cast. They do great work indeed! Hot guys warning... *heart* But I recommend watching season 1 firstly, you can dl it from silent regrets. If you have read the manga you will understand what is going on but it will be more interesting if you watch season 1.

Review
A Dirty Carnival has superb casting and good OST that really suits the name of the movie. A Dirty Carnival indeed. Plot is interesting though I was a bit disappointed with dry, boring, predictable and totally obviously doomed love relationship. Many may disagree with me but that's how I felt. It was just too typical, too usual, too boring. But it really had a very important part in the story. After Byung-do did everything he did, he changed but he could be his usual self only with the woman he loved. He could be gentle for a moment and forget his dirty deeds. This love finally opened his eyes. His attitude toward being gangster "It's normal" changed into "It's not normal at all". I think at some extent he wanted to break free from that world.

Plot is rather simple but screenwriting is good, characters have great lines, they don't talk too much. Some scenes are a bit boring, like all karaoke singing scenes but I learned to appreciate them. They had their own meaning. This movie really leaves a lot of space for thinking. All character's actions and words are not obvious, you find yourself wondering what are they thinking, why do they do such things?

Atmosphere is very tense, it keeps you on your toes. I especially love how this movie makes you feel at ease and then suddenly it stabs you from behind. It keeps you on your toes for 2 seconds too long and you start thinking that nothing will happen, then, tsazan. Sometimes extra sound effects were really lame, like stabbing and hitting. I felt like I was listening to a computer game. At times fighting scenes were over the top. For example the first big fight was too long. But overall fighting scenes were cool.

Jo In Seung is a monster, yes, his acting is stunning. Though his role was really similar to WHIB, same kind of torn by life and lost character. Anyways, Jo In Seung conveys his feelings very well. When he is nervous you start feeling nervous too, when he is scared you get chills, when he is sad you pity him. His expressions and look in his eyes are worth mentioning. This guy knows how to act with eyes. He also know show to use his body, how to be a gangster. Many times I felt like he was a real gangster. Though his smoking was fake sometimes, nobody makes that kind of sound while smoking...

Hot or not?

Jin Goo is not bad either. You can feel his icy glare. At first he seems as harmless guy but then you notice that it wasn't a joke Byung-do said "This guy my stab you with a smile on his face".

Nam Goong-min is charming as ever with cute and warm smile of his. He has a very pleasant presence about him. His character development is good too. You can see the changes but you never know what he is thinking. Did he do it to Byung-do to save his own life or Byung-do's life? Did the think that his friend would be safe with police or did he think about his own life only? One thing is sure: if not Jung-so Min Ho would have kept his mouth shut. So did Jung-so plan everything knowing this or just to protect the gang?

Lee Bo-yeong has some skills but she doesn't have much charisma. Her character is a bit dull, though very understandable. I still didn't completely get it, did she love him or not? Overall is a pleasant actress but doesn't make any great impact on you. She seemed a bit old for the role when Jo In Seung was obviously too young to be 29.

The rest of the cast was good. I just don't have anything special to say about them becuase Jo In Seung really stole the show along with Jin Goo and Nam Goong-min.

The ending was good. You get what you are asking for. To be a gangster is not easy at all. Byung-do did a msitake and didn't correct it in time so he lost the game. The last scene was touching. This movie clearly had a message but it's up to you how to interpret it. Was the ending fair or not? I think it was a bit unfair because Byung-do was the only one who had to go. Then again, why not. It was his fault. He got involved too deep into business and it eventually started breaking him apart. Like he said "No one will understand" when he told Min Ho how it feels to stab. The last flashback, why was it there. Maybe to remind Min Ho that it was reality. He was seriously involved in something dangerous. I think he had forgotten that when he filmed his movie. He forgot that he was doing something too real to be exposed to the world and he had to bear the consequences. And well, he finally understood that it wasn't just a movie, it was life, reality. There is no such thing as a movie with real gangster spirit, that's just too dangerous. It was a big mistake.

There was this "filming movie in a movie" theme. I often felt as if Min Ho's movie filming was something Yoo Ha experienced while working on A Dirty Carnival. As if he wanted to show us how he made this movie. So maybe the last scene was something he kept in his mind while filming "A movie with a real gangster spirit" and what he wanted to make us feel while watching A Dirty Carnival.

I like director/screenwriter Yoo Ha. He definitely knows how to keep ball in the air. I think I will check his other movies too.

Cool, entertaining, exciting, violent and menaingful. Superb acting and great atmosphere. I wanted to give this movie 4/5 at first but then I thought that's being too picky.

Everyohe of the gangsters did great job. I even forgot that they are just acting.

These two guys worked well together. The boss had definitely scary aura. He was nice but you never knew if that was his true side. Maybe it was him who planned Byung-do's murder at the end?

The passionate kiss. I was actually clapping because I finally saw a good kissing scene in Korean movie.

Jo In Seung had plenty cool stunts.

Such an outdated thing to put them fight in the mud <_<
