Avoiding trouble will only make it worse.
Rain is being called to Hawaii on November 4th 2008. But the trip is not to show off his English skills.
Instead he is being called to testify in front of a federal court for the abrupt cancellation of his concert last year in June 2007. Local promoter, Click Entertainment, is suing Rain and demanding that Rain and his organizers, JYP Entertainment and Star M pay more than 4 million USD for the Aloha Stadium fiasco.
Rain and his previous management have avoided the call to court in Korea. And now faced with a court date in Hawaii, they will likely push to postpone the appearance. If granted, that would buy an extra 2-3 months. But, why postpone? He really should just be a man and take responsibility for his actions. Because, no matter how you slice it, Rain has to go to court anyways. So a few more months is not going to make the pain any less.
Rain’s current management company, J-tunes is washing their hands of any responsibility.
Last year, Rain also abruptly cancelled his concerts in Atlanta, New York, San Francisco and Los Angeles.

Wooot? I never expected to hear something like this (I heard this is supposed to be old news?). I have been very disappointed with him lately already and now this happens. I didn't actually know that they could sue for cancelling a concert... but hell, it's America, they sue for everything. He better have a good explanation.
Somehow I felt something bad was coming. What's with all that going to America and acting all big, anyways? (what's with Ninja Assassin and Speed Racer... so LAME!)Wasn't it enough to be a big star in Korea, China and Japan? Why not go to Russia then or something (if you get in trouble, then pay some extra cash and you are free lol). Why must it always be America? America is no good, it's bad, very bad. And this is definitely not doing good to Rain's career/imago at all. Except if he finishes this off with style then it's simply free advertising. I say, use this opportunity Rain. Easier said than done, how's he gonna survive with his Engrish in the court?
Check Rain's new style! Boy, do I hate it? Yeah... xD I feel kinda guilty for making so much fun of him...
I know he didn't cancell the concerts himself. I am really curious why did they cancell them anyways? And it better not be anything stupid. But still Rain is like a super mega star and a real money factory to whom he is working to so he should use that power to say something about things. I know I shouldn't say this but if I were in his pants I would have done some things differently. Though entertainment world is cruel and merciless. And did I say alredy that he should use some money to employ a good stylist. *hint*hint* THOUGH if it's true that he got into business with money and not the talent (in the first place) then I dunno if he is actually that talented or not. Do I like him only because he is (was?) hot or because he is talented? I'm starting to doubt myself.
"J-tunes is washing their hands of any responsibility."
If this is true I am so killing them. Their fault in the first place.
I actaully feel like Rain has been doing totally wrong decisions lately. Oh, he got to sing in olympic games and got his own postmarks but still... I feel like everything has gone wrong since he went to America. I'm not trying to bash America here but it's totally different world... I heard he cancelled a concert lately, don't remember where (in China?) because of Rain... come on...
Whatever, I'm still his fan. I'm eagerly waiting for the new draam and I hope it will be filmed despite everything.
